Instructions
| Stage | Product | Mode | Temperature | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steam the sausage | ShellBake S1 12L | Steam | As needed | As needed |
01Cut the pork into smaller pieces if needed, then place it in a food processor and blend until the meat becomes finely minced and begins to form a smooth, sticky mixture.
02Finely chop the shallot and garlic so they can distribute evenly through the sausage mixture.
03Combine the pork with the shallot, garlic, sugar and seasoning. Mix thoroughly until the seasonings are evenly incorporated and the meat mixture looks cohesive and slightly sticky.
04Clean and soften the banana leaves so they are flexible enough to fold without tearing. Lay the leaves flat on the work surface, overlapping them if needed to create a secure wrapper.
05Place the pork mixture in the centre of the banana leaves and shape it into a compact log. Fold the leaves firmly around the meat, tucking in the ends so the sausage stays tightly enclosed during steaming.
06Place the wrapped sausage in the ShellBake S1 12L and select the Steam function. Steam until the pork is completely cooked through and the sausage feels firm and set.
07Carefully remove the sausage and let it rest briefly before unwrapping. Cut into thick slices and serve warm.
